Following In The Footsteps

Does this remind you of anyone? Berkeley has become as great a reptile hunter as his mentor Jeffrey. The only differences between 6 year old Jeffrey and 6 year old Berkeley are; while Jeffrey would silently shake with excitedment, Berk will repeatedly recount the details of each hunt with explosive exclaimations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is also a difference in the SIZE of their quary. Look what Berkeley caught in the pool yard this afternoon! He recieved a good bite on the hand in the process. Although he takes it in stride (a worthy sacrifice for such a prize) Mom still gets a little uptight despite all of Jeffrey's reassurances the it is a non-venemous "whip snake". But seriously, can you blame me? Remember the bee?

All in all this has been a sucessful week for reptile hunts in general!
