Tumble, Bumble, Stumble, and Edward

Our little "tumbles" are 4 days old now. They are starting to grow little tiny pin feathers at the ends of their wings. Their little legs go so fast, they look like littles leaves blowing across the floor. (Unless you try holding them in your hand, then they are more like popcorn.)

When Johnny Comes Marching Home Again..HURRAH!

Johnny went to Utah and Idaho last weekend for his sister's sealing.
Monday morning we got him back "home" and the boys weren't about to let him leave for work!

Here is Sammy happy with his first "Training Computer"

"Wait a second, this thing isn't even plugged in!"

Feathers and Friends

Here are a few of our latest catches! I think they are all "keepers".
Not only do the boys get all the reptiles they could hope for here in Arizona, but BrookLynn now has a houseful of adopted sisters and we are enjoying having girls around at last!
Sweetie Zaidee and a baby quail.

I think Melanie and Alexa like the birds a little more than the snake :)

This Place is a Real Dump!

Johnny took a the guys to empty his trailer Saturday morning. They thought it was great fun (except the smell part).

Piano Recital

Friday was Dawson and BrookLynn's piano recital.
They both have worked hard and both did a great job! Of course "trouble" headed for center stage!
It reminded me of my first piano recital when my sister Sarah Beth ran up to "help" me with my piece. (She also yelled at everyone else who tried to use "Jennifer's Piano")

Here is BrookLynn with their teacher Melanie.

How A 14-Year-Old Changes Diapers

OK - Here is the story. I had just gotten out of the shower and ready for Young Women's, dressed in white, when Berkeley comes up and announced, "Sammy just had a MAJOR blow-out, poop is on his diaper AND his high chair." ARGH! Just then I remembered my coupons! My wonderful son Jeffrey gave me a set of punch card type coupons for Christmas, (one of the best gifts EVER!)

Well, I have to admit I laughed my head off when I saw this out my back window.

I guess there is more than one way to get the job done :P

(Don't worry Grammy, it was 90 degrees outside.)

Sprinkling Sam

If you can't tell, Sammy LOVES water. He just sat and played and walked around in the sprinklers on Saturday. Glen even target sprayed him with the hose and he didn't even flinch, just went about his buisness.

Reflections of Christ

This photograph comes from a traveling art exhibit that was here at the Mesa, Arizona temple visitors center over Easter. Last week we had in out home Robert Allen who represented Christ in these photographs. Last night we were able to attend a fireside about the pictures which was fantastic! There is a slide show on their web site, as well as the "making of" stories. It is like nothing I have ever seen before and has truly increased my desire to come closer to the Savior.

You never know who might come for dinner....

Jen's cousin Johnny and his friend Robert spent the evening with us tonight - what a party we had! Johnny will be working for Robert here in Mesa for the next month and we are really looking forward to having him around!

Johnny gets a little intense on the wii (not really, it's all staged)

Look at my brown boy!!!!

Sammy got all caught up in the excitement and decided

to throw caution to the wind and let go of the couch for real.

He HAD to get into all the fun with Johnny and the boys,

He also liked getting his fingers into Robert's beard,

and so he ran across the floor back and forth over and over!

Primary

BrookLynn is so sweet! She spent so much time Sunday converting her conference packet into a primary lesson and game. The kids really enjoyed her lesson in the closet, even Sammy hung in there for a while!
