"Golden Tooth"
Two Sundays ago Jeffrey was playing with Jacob and discovered an enormous hole in his back molar. Well Jacob was as thrilled as can be and ran through the house telling everyone he was going to get a golden tooth. I am not sure when this aspiration began, but he can cross it off his bucket list.
He begged to be taken to the dentist ASAP . He bravely endured shots (not a wiggle or a tear) and was even delighted to see the plate full of instruments. The dentist (our bishop) said that Jacob is the bravest guy he's ever had in his office.

Spring Break and "Pickle Therapy"
Let me introduce you to the the inspiring tale of "Pete and Pickles" by Berkeley Breathed.
On a perfectly predictable and practical day - one of many it seemed marching on in an endless precession of lessons, church meetings, scouts, housework, and school work, we came upon the story of Pete.
Pete was a predictable, practical and uncomplicated pig. And he would have remained so if he had not discovered-as so many of you have- a shivering elephant hiding beneath his bedroom lamp shade. Thus a new world opens for Pete in ways both sublimely silly and annoyingly imperfect...
The kids and I giggled like crazy over the pictures and story, and I suddenly felt inspired by what has come to be known as "Pickle Therapy". Typically fun and silliness takes a back seat to the vacuum cleaner, so what better time than SPRING BREAK rally your friends and live out your dreams and take time to giggle. So today we took a

Friends from colder regions -- Dave & Jasmina Visit
Dave and Jasmina visted us from Utah this weekend!! We had a great time at the Pinewood Derby, In-and-Out, dirtbike riding at Box Canyon, ping pong and a great filet steak dinner on the BBQ.

Jasmina almost "lost an eye" when she took a ping pong ball right to the eyeball here at Bruce's house.
