Sea World

BABY BELUGA!
BrookLynn liked that they swim on their backs.

Sammy loved the kid play area. He ran, and climbed, and made friends with everyone around. It actually was one of the most relaxing couple hours of the week!

Prize winners! Berkeley really cleaned up at the arcade.
Jacob and Brooklynn got their share of prizes as well! Yea Guys!

Here's Dawson, he finally made it to the game center!

Can't you just see the love in his eyes?

San Diego Get-Away

Glen had a training meeting to attend in San Diego last weekend, so after 10 grueling days of school, we took an early Labor Day. Our first hotel suite was less than sweet. We had all eight of us in one room where they had out up a wall in the middle of the room making is SUPER small! The next morning we headed out to the Marriot! It was a happy exchange! I felt so frazzeled when we arrived there, but the man who opened my door just smiled and said. "We are going to make life easy for you!" I LOVE that guy, but Jeffrey loved the bell hop guy. Thanks to my California native friend Kacy for pointing us to the most family friendly beach. The kids had such a great time. Berkeley talked in nothing less than a full scream the entire time. Can you tell he was excited?

The Mighty Wolf

Because he never actually recieved a patch for his Bobcat, dawson was asked to repeat the ceremony. His on;y stipulation? "Can I keep the apple?" Since he was the last of three (ewe) they let him keep and EAT the apples! (Of course he shared. Hey, we might as well all get sick together!)

Next was the WOLF pack initiation. He had to "drink the wolf blood". He was a little aprehensive about this one, but was pleasantly surprised to find only colored water, and maybe a little salt. Whew!

Jeffrey gets a Life!

Can you believe these big guys? They were 3 and 4 when they met...here they are in the same scout troop! It's CRAZY!

First Day of School

We are back at it again! Our supply boxes ate unpacked, the closet has been sorted and stacked with new paper and pencils, and we're off! The first week is always a little (ok...a LOT) crazy, but we made it and are on our way to another year of fun!

This picture is for my mom who always made us line up in front of the school for a snapshot on the first day. The kids are attending their High School "borientation" assembly! GO CYBER CATS! Jeffrey and Alexa were excited to find out about virtual prom........too bad they aren't old enough to date!

The Laundry Lizard

I made an unsuspecting catch of my own the other night. I was cleaning up the laundy room counter before bed, and just picking up this "plasitc lizard" to throw into my blue catch-all container, when he scared me to death by wriggling out of my grasp! It was then I remembered hearing Berkeley say earlier, " I HAD a lizard on my shirt, but he jumped off when I came in the door! I don't know if he's in or out!" Well, now we know.

Got Milk?

It is my job to feed Sarah and Amy's babies their first Oreo. Since Johnny beat me to it with Savannah I had to make up for it 100 fold while she was here!
