"Who left the baby in the road?"

I had the Young Women's combined activity - pool party- here Wednesday night. At about 5:00 Glen took the boys and said he had some errands to run and would be back about 6:30. Everyone got here and we were just getting into the swing of things when Glen came in and said, "Jen! Someone left a BABY out in the road!" My stomach dropped it made me sick!

I grabbed the car seat from him thinking maybe it was Stacie's baby Gavin, but it was a girl. I was just staring at her and my mind was whirling. She looked a lot like Savannah. I started trying to figure out who's she could be, none of my neighbors have baby girls. I took her over to the other leaders and asked if anyone knew who she was, no one recognized her. I was thinking a hundred miles an hour, shocked that someone would do that. I was thinking someone must have gotten distracted, then I turned to Glen cause I was just horrified, " It was in the STREET?" Then in the group of people standing there was Sarah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My first reaction was to say, "Sarah, someone left a baby in the street". SLowly everything clicked into place , it was a COMPLETE surprise!
