We just wanted to try and use the movie bit! Sam is laughing a lot these days, sometimes for no apparent reason. He ALWAYS gets the hiccups when laughing. Too cute!

Catch of the Day

Berk picked up "spot" last night when he returned Frog and Toad to their deset home.

The Many Adventures of Frog and Toad

We love BOYS!

Catch of the Day

Fun in My Sleep

Sammy LOVES his bouncing toy chair!
The other day he bounced himself to sleep,
then he just kept on giggling!
Thank you Grammy!

The Catch of the Day

Not so dangerous today. He won't kill you, but he might make you CRAZY!

Grandparents close your eyes...............

This baby was right over the fence!
I learned some important things today;

1. First of all, "CALM DOWN!" My melt-down is the boys' favorite part of telling the story!

2. I am glad that Jeffrey knows how to handle snakes, and what NOT to do. Of course I didn't want him in there, but in the end I find myself grateful that he was here to take care of it so I won't have to worry about it lurking.

3. I found the closest place to get anti-venom.

So Hungry!

I could Eat an Elephant!

How about some mush instead!

Look, look what Jeffrey and his buddy Christian found! Of course they had to poke it with a stick and then kill it.
The Mojave Rattlesnake. Only the most venemous in North America.

"Skin 'im and Eat 'im!" I always say.

No, wait, I always say, "Don't touch that!"

Jeffery teaching young Sam the right way to hold a "rattle" snake.

A Brand New Outfit

Here is how the Chrysalis looked Tuesday night before we went to bed.
"Now you are so beautiful, you have become a butterfly!"

GOOD MORNING!

Labor Day Weekend PAYSON, Arizona

Snowflake, Arizona Temple
Look at all these 10 kids!

Jacob and Zaidee Finding Nemo

This was the night the boys DID NOT camp out.

Yes, that is Sam sitting up!

Critters Beware!

As you can see, it was a successful Labor Day Hunt this year.
We didn't even get the other 3 Lizards on film. Too bad!

Chrysalis

On our holiday weekend the boys collected a bunch of "Buggy Wuggy Guys". Just before we left Berkeley says he picked a wishing flower, wished for a monarch caterpillar, and blew off EVERY PIECE. Then he turned around and found one hanging on a plant nearby. (He later said, "Dang, I should have wished I could fly!") This WAS our "Little Einstein Calapidder" this morning.

It's going to be a long 10 - 14 days waiting for our butterfly.
We'll keep you posted!
