The Loot

Trick -or- Treat?

This Halloween was FANTASTIC!! First of all I want everyone in Utah to know Mom went Trick-or-Treating in her BARE FEET! No coats, no boots, no gloves. Even better we were able to FILL our bags after just going around a couple blocks. Most of the houses in the neighborhood were dressed to the max. I would have to liken what we experienced here tonight as one huge Halloween Tailgate Party! Everyone was out in mass on the driveways playing music, or watching movies projected on the sides of houses. One house had a popcorn machine in the driveway, another was giving out hot dogs. One house even had out the Nintendo Wii on the big screen TV in their front yard. And now for the costume fashon show...........

It's Halloween Fun!

Berkeley was so proud of his pumpkin.
From start to finish, he did the entire thing all on his own!

Makin' and Bakin' BrookLynn has been our little in house Chef these days. By the way, if you have ever considered buying one of these cookie presses....TOTALLY worth while . Everyone had a lot of fun, and it was very clean. Can't wait to use it for Christmas cookies!

Sammy's first taste of Halloween.

By the way, I was unable to capture it on film...but he rolled back to tummy for real today. He's been getting a lot of practice in, but every time I try to catch it on camera, he can't stop smiling long enough to concentrate. I'll keep working on it.

Big Helpers

We had an unusually large load of dishes last night, and Mommy was SO tired. Jacob came running in with a big smile and offered to help. What a nice boy! Sammy is following his big brother's example making sure I got ALL the sugar off the measuring spoons before putting them away. So, no worries! You can eat here and know your spoons are CLEAN!

Smiling at Savannah!

We got our first look at baby Savannah this morning! She is SO cute!
We are so grateful everything turned out well for Mommy and Baby.
Hurry Johnny and post her on the blog!!!

Bald Eagle

Berkeley wanted to share his Bald eagle sculpture with the family, so here it is!

Catch of the Day

But who caught who?

Yes, it's real.

Yes, it's alive.
(No, Mom was not present when these pictures were taken.)

Meet "Hermie Jack"

I dared Berkeley to swim the length of the pool twice last Saturday. It's pretty cold now that the nights get into the 60's. It's pretty obvious who won the bet!

Awwwwwwwwww

Remember when.....

On our family vacation to San Diego Jeffrey was 18 months old, and very afraid of the ocean waves. He was already an artist however, and LOVED to draw, draw, draw so he was pretty excited when Glen taught him about sand as a medium. I fortunatally was there to catch the moment on film!

Sam's Story

Well, there I was.... just making friends with the nice Doctor; wrinkling her paper and eating my toes. She said, "You weigh 16 lbs. 12 0z." I said, "I like your orange wall." She said, "You are 27 inches tall." I give her a nice happy raspberry. She shines her light in my ears and eyes and I laugh out-loud. It's all very fun.
Then in comes that nurse . I tried to be her friend but.....
Bam! Bam! Bam! Bam! Actually, I'd rather not talk about the rest.
Still, nothing really gets me down.

Wake Up Sleepy!

It's BrookLynn's "job" to get the baby dressed in mornings.
It's his job to try and wake her up!

Sugar and Spice.....

This was BrookLynn's best day ever! Yesterday half way through school BrookLynn got a surprise phone call from her friend McKalie saying they were half way to Arizona!!! It was a LONG day after that waiting for friends to get here, but now they are together they have been making the most of EVERY minute !

Snips and Snails...

So, while the girls were dressing up the baby, making waffels, watching "Phantom of the Opera", and creating dance routines to High School Musical 2 in their matching pink panda jams, Berkeley and Mckinnon were racing toads in the back yard! Gotta love it!

It finally happend...

Well.....I thought it might happen,

When I went out to the sandbox this morning,
Jacob says, "Look Mom, I am a broken Snowman!"

A lot of "Favorites"

Of course you know Grammy won't play favorites, even for a birthday, so everyone else got packages on Monday. So much fun! Thank you Grammy!
