Tonight we went to Melanie's year end Orchestra concert. Jacob LOVES classical music and instruments! You would have thought I'd taken him to Disneyland! He was SO happy and int erested through the entire evening! He was enthusiastically naming all the instruments he could see, and also recognized them by sound as well. His favorite is still the Cello.
He also really enjoyed being the little gentleman and bringing the flowers for Melanie.
For our Utah family, let me tell you a little more about our adopted big sister. All the seniors had a nice little write up about themselves in tonight's program which was read as their parents escorted them down the isle to the stage. Here is what Melanie had to say for herself:

"Melanie was born in a hospital. her parents are Michael and Kimberley Marble. In addition to playing her violin, Melanie has taught 'the young souls of the world the art of piano.' She is also estatic that she has survived the first eighteen years of her life without killing herself. Melanie's plans for the future include finishing the last few days of high school, goin to school to become the best music therapist, or nurse, or dental hygenist.........wait...scratch that! Melanie plans to reside with her parents for the rest of their lives, then she plans to move to California."
