All that hard work and finally Brookie has earned her pointe shoes, just in time for her 12th birthday! She has been dreaming about this day for 8 years. When she was 4 I took her to the nutcracker and half way through she started to get tearful. I thought maybe it was too long for such a little girl. When I asked why she was crying she said, "I just love it so much!" Each year the harder she works, the more she loves it.
This is Barry. He knows EVERYTHING about those shoes!
The fitting took an hour and a half!

"Scary Barry" - because he was quite the expert and pretty militant about it all. Marie and I weren't used to all that, but it didn't even phase quiet little BrookLynn.
