Carving Pumpkins the Arizona Way

He's been waiting, and waiting, and WAITING! Because it's so hot here (high 80's today) we have to wait until Halloween to carve our pumpkins. It's hard for me to cast off the tradition of family night pumpkins; wearing sweats and jackets on the back porch, then coming in by the fire to eat seeds and tell stories.

Well the Arizona way is sort of multi-tasking in a way. Here we are back porch, pumpkins, getting warm all at once. (In fact Berkeley, BrookLynn, Dawson, Jacob, and Sam ended up swimming when we were done!).
