Mr. Toad did not get far in his escape. Sam found him up and hopping again. He was so delighted to have his friend back in his loving clutch.
He said, "I will love him, and kiss him, and take him with me in the bath..............."
This time, no matter how many times he checked, Mr. Toad didn't hop again.
I consider it a life well spent for the joy he brought to the world.
